Genesis 33:3,4 tells us that the next day, “He passed over before them, and bowed himself to the ground seven times, until he came near to his brother.  And Esau ran to meet him, and embraced him, and fell on his neck, and kissed him: and they wept.”

See for the source of the photograph of the above line drawing.  I love Rembrandt’s line drawing, not just because of his empathy for the human condition but because he says so much with so little.  In that sense it seems to have a modern, expressive flair – it seems to come to life.
